This full-time, in-person contract role values your skill in both English and Spanish, ensuring bilingual students receive the highest standard of care. You'll engage with youth at multiple school sites, collaborating closely to address a wide variety of speech and language needs.
What you'll bring:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience supporting speech and language development in an educational setting (PreK-8 preferred)
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with previous bilingual SLP experience highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy to students’ diverse learning needs
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication with students, families, and team members
Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to K-8 students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that support IEP goals
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to student success strategies
- Communicating progress and maintaining documentation according to educational guidelines
- Consulting with staff and families to optimize student outcomes across multiple school buildings
- Serving as a linguistic and cultural bridge for Spanish-speaking students and families
