Speech-Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL

This full-time contract role is located near Chicago, IL and is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists ready to support a caseload of 42-50 students in a vibrant school environment.
Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 3:30pm (including a half-hour lunch), you'll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals. The assignment begins ASAP and will continue through a date yet to be determined, offering stability and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure as required)
- Experience or strong interest working with middle school populations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 42-50 students with varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech-language therapy services for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
- Communicate progress to families and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide intervention in both individual and group settings
