What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver personalized speech and language therapy, incorporating assistive technology, augmentative communication, and social language interventions.
- Address articulation, voice, oral-motor, feeding needs, and both receptive and expressive language delays.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation testing, delivering clear, insightful assessment reports.
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and school specialists to monitor progress, address challenges, and foster developmental growth.
- Provide support and problem-solving in dynamic environments, ensuring flexibility to address students’ varied needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE).
- Preferably 1–2 years of professional experience as a school-based SLP.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
