Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, student-focused approach
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and work effectively with diverse students
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs of students
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans to help each student thrive
- Document progress and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administration to support student success
- Offer direct intervention services and classroom-based support as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and federal requirements
