Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school-based team in Chesterfield, South Carolina for the upcoming school year. This full-time SLP position supports students across K-12 grade levels, providing essential speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs.
This role is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about pediatric therapy, special education, and helping students succeed in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions

- Schools Served: Up to 2 school sites
- Student Needs: Various disabilities and ability levels
- Support Team: Join a team of 5 experienced Speech-Language Pathologists
- Locations: Schools in Chesterfield and Cheraw, SC
Qualifications
- Active or eligible South Carolina SLP license
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, or special education is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
