Qualifications & Certifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license
- South Carolina Teaching Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with school-aged children or in a pediatric, educational setting preferred
- Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services to children in both group and one-on-one sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with IEP documentation requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student development and success in the classroom
- Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
