Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Create and carry out individualized therapy plans for students, tracking progress and adjusting as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for service delivery
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding speech and language development
