Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and valid state licensure/certification as an SLP in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to tailor interventions
- Develop, update, and implement IEP goals
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate, timely records, and provide regular reports
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer support and guidance to families regarding therapy goals and progress
