Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid and current state licensure for practicing as an SLP in school settings
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual instruction methods preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to school-aged students with varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Offer direct therapy sessions both on-site and via teletherapy platforms, adapting delivery methods for each setting
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Maintain accurate treatment records, reports, and necessary documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
