Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in an educational setting near Charleston, SC. This full-time SLP position spans a 210-day assignment, supporting students and collaborating closely with school staff to make a positive impact. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • State licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but open to strong clinical backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Capacity to work on-site (Allison Bowman as main contact) or consideration for VOCO/virtual work (contact: Kyle McGinley)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Maintain complete, accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and collaborative planning sessions
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school community
