- Familiarity with school-based therapy programs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with suspected communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, voice, and fluency issues
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families to enhance communication strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings within the school environment
