Travel Speech Therapist in Chambersburg, PA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a rewarding role within a supportive educational environment in Chambersburg, PA. Two positions are open:
- Position 1: Serving two elementary schools
- Position 2: Serving grades K-12, with a primary focus on elementary students
Both roles require a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with a dedicated team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- New graduates (CFs) are encouraged to apply; SLPA candidates will not be considered at this time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for working with students, families, and educators
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple school settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
