SLP CFY - Zion, IL

This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate who thrives in resource settings and enjoys supporting learners from kindergarten through fifth grade.
You’ll be working in a single, collaborative school building with a manageable caseload of 25 to 30 students. The position follows a reliable full-time schedule of 35.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:25am to 4pm. Your role will begin on August 17, 2026, and conclude on May 28, 2027, giving you the chance to support students and staff through a full academic year. New staff training details will be provided closer to the assignment start date.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Eligible for, or possession of, Illinois SLP licensure
- Accepting both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Experience in resource or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language services to a caseload of 25-30 elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support students’ progress in the classroom
- Conduct evaluations and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in a resource setting
