- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (either status considered)
- Illinois state licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, IEP documentation, and working with diverse student populations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and fostering student achievement
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to students across elementary/middle/high grade levels
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and contributing to IEP meetings
- Maintaining accurate, compliant documentation for all services and interventions
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support generalization of skills
- Developing and adapting materials to increase student access and engagement
- Tracking student progress and modifying interventions based on data
