Pediatric Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in South Charleston, WV

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility
• Previous or clinical experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based settings
• Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Open-mindedness and adaptability in new educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students ages preschool through high school
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and district expectations
• Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions via individual and small group therapy sessions
• Collaborate thoughtfully with educators, support staff, and families to provide comprehensive care and maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state, federal, and school district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing education
