Clinical Fellow SLP in Waukegan, IL

Key qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) in Illinois
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, or clinical placement with school-aged population
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of K-5 students within one school
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to inform IEP goals and eligibility
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to support language development in the resource setting
- Documenting progress, updating IEPs, and participating in team meetings as needed
- Communicating effectively with families regarding student growth and progress
Enjoy a structured schedule working 35.5 hours per week, from 8:25am to 4:00pm, aligned with the academic calendar from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027. New staff training details will be confirmed in advance to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
