Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist CFY in Northfield, VT
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric care. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Northfield, VT area, open to travel professionals passionate about helping children thrive in educational settings. You'll work alongside dedicated teams, using your expertise to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for pediatric students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Either Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based settings
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
- Ability to work independently and compassionately with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Educate teachers and families on strategies to encourage speech and language development
- Support school initiatives and promote a positive learning environment
