Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Must possess or be eligible for ASHA CCC or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Active or eligible licensure as an SLP in Vermont
  • Previous experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment programs for children with a range of communication disorders
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective strategies and accommodations
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student evaluations, and help develop goals for student achievement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports student growth and development
