Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia SLP license
- Strong clinical foundation for SLP or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY) if applicable
- Experience or interest in working with a school-based K-12 caseload
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within a district
- Collaborative communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct therapy sessions and consultations for students on caseload
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings
- Document student progress and maintain all required records
- Liaise with staff and families to support students’ academic success
