Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Eligibility for AL SLP licensure and Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with pediatric, school-based populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K–12 students under supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assess, diagnose, and support treatment planning for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders (as appropriate for CFY level)
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds
- Engage in ongoing mentorship and supervision activities to successfully complete CFY requirements
