This contract role is available for the 2026–2027 school year, serving one school site with a mix of elementary and middle school students. Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Georgia PSC (Professional Standards Commission) credential—now a mandatory requirement
  • Current state licensure and active ASHA certification
  • CFY status with no SLPAs permitted for this position
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start date
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different age groups and student needs
  • Willingness to work full-time onsite; remote services are not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement individual or group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
  • Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and special education processes as needed
