Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Georgia PSC (Professional Standards Commission) credential—now a mandatory requirement
- Current state licensure and active ASHA certification
- CFY status with no SLPAs permitted for this position
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start date
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different age groups and student needs
- Willingness to work full-time onsite; remote services are not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement individual or group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and special education processes as needed
