Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin a Clinical Fellowship in Columbus, Georgia. Your first year as an SLP is an important transition from graduate training to independent clinical practice, and you do not have to navigate it alone. This opportunity provides dedicated CF supervision, mentorship, and professional support while you gain valuable school-based experience and work toward completing your ASHA requirements.
About the Position
As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide speech and language services to students while receiving qualified supervision and guidance throughout your fellowship. You will develop clinical independence, collaborate with educational teams, participate in IEP processes, and gain hands-on experience supporting students with a variety of communication needs.
Job Duties
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings and evaluations under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Implement evidence-based interventions addressing speech, language, fluency, articulation, and communication needs
- Track required CF hours and maintain appropriate fellowship documentation
- Participate in scheduled supervision and professional development
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required graduate coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligibility to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- Eligibility for the appropriate Georgia SLP licensure pathway for Clinical Fellows
- Ability to meet Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology requirements for supervised practice
- Ability to obtain any required Georgia Department of Education credential for school-based practice
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
