School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Centreville, Maryland
Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support PreK-5th grade students for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity covers an elementary caseload of approximately 60 service hours per month, offering both in-person and flexible virtual (VOCO) arrangements—with onsite services preferred. The assignment spans the full school year, providing the chance to make a real impact within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Maryland SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Previous experience in Maryland schools is highly desirable
- Experience providing speech and language services to elementary-aged children (PreK-5th)
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing services onsite and open to virtual service (VOCO) if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized speech/language therapy to an elementary caseload
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with state regulations and school policies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver approximately 60 service hours per month tailored to student needs
