We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 academic year in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work primarily with elementary students, with the possibility of supporting some middle schoolers.
New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY candidates) will be considered, especially those with school-based clinical experience.
Position Details:
- Assignment Dates: August 2026 – May 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 – 40 hours per week)
- Student Population: Primarily elementary; possible middle school support
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students’ communication skills to enhance academic and social success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- CFY candidates welcome with school-based clinical experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting
- Experience working with diverse student populations
