Travel School Speech Therapist - Central Point, Oregon
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support district-wide site-based programs known as MAPS PLUS, providing services across multiple educational levels. This travel position is located in Central Point, OR, and involves working with classes ranging from elementary to high school within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in the MAPS PLUS program, including elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches based on individual needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary approach to student support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school-based settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development as it relates to children and adolescents.
