Step into a meaningful role providing speech and language services for preschoolers throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is based near Manitou Springs, CO and is designed for professionals ready to support the developmental and communication needs of young learners from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with new staff training scheduled for July 27, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience supporting preschool and early childhood populations in educational environments
  • Strong understanding of language, articulation, and social communication therapy techniques
  • Commitment to a 37.5-hour work week for the entirety of the school year
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-50 preschool students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related service providers
  • Maintain accurate records, complete progress monitoring, and participate in IEP and staff meetings
  • Conduct speech and language assessments as required, and provide goal-oriented interventions
  • Support and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
