I’m partnering with a district near Cary, NC to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, onsite position within a collaborative special education team, supporting a diverse K–12 caseload in a structured, school-based environment.
Position Overview
- Contract Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 9, 2027
- Setting: Onsite
- Caseload: K–12 (assigned based on experience; details provided prior to placement)
- Schedule: Full-time, aligned with school calendar
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation per state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and student support planning
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- Valid educator certification (if required by state)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply – supervision provided
