Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Cartersville, Georgia
Two Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) openings are available in Cartersville, GA, offering opportunities to support students across diverse school settings on contract basis. These roles focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students from Pre-K through grade 12, with options for travel or single-site placement.
Position 1: Compensatory Services SLP (Travel Required)
- Provide onsite speech therapy across multiple school locations with required travel between sites
- Address compensatory service needs until all requirements are met
- Manage a caseload of students across all grade levels, Pre K–12
- Deliver summer services from June 1 through June 30
Position 2: Elementary School-Based SLP
- Work onsite at a single elementary school serving approximately 45 to 55 students
- Support students in grades Pre K through 6th grade
- Use Paddynet platform for service documentation
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Eligibility for SLP roles including CFY and CCC credentials preferred
- Experience with pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with parents, teachers, staff, and administration through various channels (email, phone, progress reports)
- Proficiency in scheduling using Google Calendar, including IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Skilled in conducting and documenting evaluations, IEPs, and data reviews
