Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Indianapolis, IN
Step into an exciting contract opportunity serving young learners in a supportive elementary school environment near Indianapolis, IN. This position begins March 1, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2026, offering the chance to make meaningful connections with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. You’ll be working a full-time schedule—37.5 hours per week across five days—providing speech and language services to a manageable caseload of about 60 children.
You’ll be stepping into a role previously held by a colleague advancing to a leadership position. This allows for a seamless transition, with access to handoff support and background knowledge from the departing SLP, as well as an established schedule ready for you to implement. Your expertise will be valued as you contribute to each child’s progress and collaborate with a talented professional team.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and/or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and hybrid service models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- New graduates with CFY or experienced professionals welcome
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-5 students individually and in groups
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor outcomes
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Utilize existing scheduling to efficiently manage the caseload
