Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Successful completion of fingerprinting requirements and eligibility or possession of a JLA Badge (transferable from other FL districts)
- Previous experience working with high school students or within a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to high school students in accordance with IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student evaluations, and provide consultative support within the school community
