Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Canton, Mississippi

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Mississippi
- Credentials as SLP-CCC are highly valued; SLP-CFY candidates also welcome
- Experience or interest in healthcare-based, pediatric, or educational SLP settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Prior work in schools or with K-12 populations strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
- Provide individualized and group direct therapy tailored to varied student needs
- Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, families, and school administrators to support student progress
- Engage in regular documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school standards
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours a week
- Contract duration: ASAP through June 2023
- Caseload consists of students with mild to moderate disabilities in both general and special education
