Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Georgia licensure required for practicing SLPs
  • ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings highly desirable
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for serving school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and participate in student progress meetings
  • Provide direct therapy services in alignment with each student’s IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to support student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
