Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Georgia licensure required for practicing SLPs
- ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are strongly encouraged to apply
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for serving school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and participate in student progress meetings
- Provide direct therapy services in alignment with each student’s IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
