Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and documentation for school-based settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- National certification (ASHA CCCs) desirable but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students on the assigned elementary caseloads
- Participate in IEP meetings, developing goals and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district requirements
- Support students’ social, academic, and communication development in a positive learning environment
