Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current SLP license for the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings strongly valued
- Knowledge of conducting thorough assessments and developing effective IEPs
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to an elementary caseload
- Develop, monitor, and document progress on individualized treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and reviews
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure student goals are being met
- Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and stay current with best practices
