School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Madison, Georgia
Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract opportunity. Two openings are available, both serving elementary caseloads for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF)
- Experience in a K-5 or elementary school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services to elementary students with communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals with academic instruction
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation per district and state guidelines
- Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and IEP meetings as needed
- Offer strategies and resources to families and staff to support student development
