Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, with a passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Capable of developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a kindergarten student in accordance with their IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support communication goals
- Conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and document outcomes consistent with school policies
- Offer consultation and training to staff and parents as needed
- Attend and participate in meetings related to student planning and progress reviews
