Key Qualifications:
- New York State SLP License required
- TSSDL certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred, though enthusiastic clinical SLPs eager to grow in a school setting are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, both in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Develop engaging therapy plans tailored to student needs
