Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for SLP licensure and certification (CCC or CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, working with K–21 populations
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is highly preferred
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized plans for varying speech/language needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for students with diverse needs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective interventions
- Maintain compliant documentation and progress reporting
- Support students’ communication development across a wide age and ability range
- Stay current on best practices in school-based speech/language therapy
