Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure for NY state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop creative, individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student progress
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver both direct and consultative services in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Foster a positive environment that supports student confidence and growth
