Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary students in a vibrant and collaborative school environment near Cambridge, MA! This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact on students in grades K-5, providing essential therapy services across several elementary school buildings. With an onsite schedule of 35 hours per week, you'll play a vital role as a leave coverage specialist from September 29 through December 23.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Massachusetts SLPA license or credential required (or ability to obtain appropriate state credential)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of pediatric speech-language therapy in school-based settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs for K-5 students
  • Support students with speech, language, and communication needs within multiple elementary school buildings
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate session documentation
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff to promote optimal outcomes
  • Adapt service delivery to accommodate diverse learning needs and IEP goals
