Speech and Language Pathologist in Santa Barbara, CA
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an engaging opportunity to support high school students in grades 7-12 through both speech-only and comprehensive special education services. The role is based onsite at a high school in Santa Barbara, CA, and is a contract position for the current school year, with a maternity leave coverage from February to April.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy to students with diverse communication needs. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of IEP goals and promote student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred
- Experience working with high school students, preferably in a special education setting
- Ability to provide both speech-only and full special education services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to on-site presence and student-centered support
