Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in a school setting working with children pre-K through high school is valued
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and provide direct therapy services
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for teamwork, student growth, and community involvement
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support educational progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to meet school and state guidelines
- Advocate for students and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
