A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. With a manageable caseload of around 50 students and the support of a dedicated part-time SLPA, you’ll have the resources and teamwork you need to deliver exceptional speech and language services.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Active SLP license or eligibility to practice in Oklahoma
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Background in pediatric speech and language therapy, ideally in a school environment
- Experience with diverse communication needs across elementary age groups
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting student development and empowering young learners
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech/language goals
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supervise and coordinate with the assigned SLPA to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all school guidelines and policies
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and support a positive, inclusive educational environment
