Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Oklahoma SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document findings to determine students' speech and language abilities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to share strategies that promote communication development
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development as needed
