Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Burleson, TX

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is required
- Experience supervising SLPAs in an elementary environment preferred
- Comfortable overseeing a caseload of 70–80 students per site
- Proven ability to collaborate with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Not a virtual (Voco) position; only onsite applicants accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students according to IEPs
- Oversee and mentor SLPAs, providing support and supervision as needed
- Manage travel between campuses and maintain organized itinerant schedules
- Document progress, complete evaluations, and attend IEP meetings
- Liaise with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Stay up to date with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech therapy
