Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buffalo, MN
Support students in making meaningful progress in a school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, contract position running from the end of April through the conclusion of the school year. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but enthusiastic SLPs excited to make an impact are encouraged to apply
- Minnesota state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside educators, administrators, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners through individualized intervention plans
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication with educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student success
- Utilize creative and evidence-based practices to support students’ growth in speech, language, and communication
