School- Based Speech-Language Pathologist | Brussels, Wisconsin
Exciting opportunity for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support student success within a dynamic K-12 educational setting. This contract position is for the 2026–2027 school year, with flexibility to consider multiple part-time candidates working a minimum of 20 hours per week. Beginning September 2026, and continuing through May 2027, this assignment provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication growth while collaborating with a supportive team in a single school location.
Assignment Details:

Hours per Week: 35–40
Part-Time Consideration: Minimum 20 hours per week
Daily Schedule: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Caseload: Approximately 40–50 Students
Population Served: K–12
Compensation: $40–$45 per hour (Onsite)
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- SLP-CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply if supervision can be provided
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Wisconsin school experience is strongly preferred and will help candidates stand out
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for school-aged children
- Skilled in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services according to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support classroom strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals as appropriate
- Act as an advocate for students’ communication needs during IEP meetings
- Engage families in the therapy process and provide practical support
