Openings available:
- A part-time (0.6 FTE, approx. 24 hours/week) position covering a leave of absence from August 4th to May 21st, 2027 at two high schools.
- A temporary, full-time (0.8 FTE, approx. 32 hours/week) opening for the same timeframe at two elementary schools.
Both roles offer flexible scheduling to be determined in partnership with school leadership.
Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license, or in the process of obtaining (no SLPA applications)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- One year or more experience working directly in classroom settings
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to create supportive, engaging learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Deliver therapy services onsite within the assigned school communities
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing progress monitoring
