What you bring:
- Active SLP license for the state of Florida, with CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings, especially private school environments
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, including design, implementation, and documentation
- Skilled in administering various speech/language evaluations and assessments
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educational staff, students, and parents
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a multi-site or itinerant assignment
What you’ll do:
- Conduct thorough speech/language assessments and evaluations per student needs
- Develop, participate in, and document IEP goals, present levels, and progress reports
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to K-12 students
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Travel to assigned private schools for on-site service delivery (mileage reimbursed)
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations
