Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists eager to work with students ages 5-21 in an educational setting close to New York, NY. Several contract positions are open, including one full-time, one part-time (2-3 days per week, flexible based on your availability and caseload), and a maternity leave coverage role from July through October. Positions have the potential to extend into the next school year.
Start dates are flexible, ranging from immediate to August, with schedules typically running between 8:30am and 2:00pm and totaling 25-30 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New York SLP license and TSSLD certification
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed
- Experience in school and/or healthcare settings with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service delivery
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily individual and group treatment to students
- Maintaining accurate daily treatment notes
- Completing quarterly and annual progress reports
- Drafting and updating IEPs as required
- Conducting monthly self-audits of documentation and attendance records
