Skills and Experience Sought:
- Valid NY SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC credential
- TSHH or TSSLD - DOE certification
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with educational teams
Key Duties:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation, progress notes, and data collection
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Support compliance with New York state and federal regulations
